9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday to Thursday,
Variable hours on Fridays.
Closed weekends & public holidays.
Consultations are by appointment only.
Fees Policy
WholeHealth Medical Care is a mixed billing practice.
Bulk billing is available for Health Care Card holders, Pension Card Holders, and children under 16 years of age (except for procedures).
Bulk billing may be available at the discretion of your doctor.

About Our Medical Practice
WholeHealth Medical Care is a small general medical practice located in the village of Millthorpe, in the Central West of NSW. It is 23 km from Orange, and 12 km from Blayney. The practice provides comprehensive care to patients of all ages, and is an inclusive practice.
The practice consists of two Doctors at present, who have a passion for comprehensive general medical practice care. Dr Linda McGoldrick has special interests in women's health, and preventive and lifestyle medicine. Dr Peter McGoldrick has special interests in sports medicine and skin cancer management.
Dr Linda McGoldrick is working towards her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. When Dr Linda McGoldrick is not in the practice, she is teaching the next generation of doctors as a tutor with Charles Sturt University School of Rural Medicine.

Our Doctors

Dr. Linda McGoldrick
Dr Linda McGoldrick, previously an RN, decided to pursue a medical career to fulfil her passion for providing holistic healthcare. Linda completed her medical degree with Honours in Newcastle, before returning to Sydney to complete her hospital training at St George Hospital.
Linda & her husband, Peter, moved to Millthorpe in 2013 with their four children for a wonderful rural lifestyle.
Over the last 7 years, Linda has worked under the auspices of NSW Ministerial Appointments as an Official Visitor in both Mental Health, & Drug & Alcohol, Units.
Linda’s desire to help those suffering with chronic diseases led her to Lifestyle Medicine. In pursuing this passion to treat and potentially reverse chronic diseases, Linda completed the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine Certification as a Lifestyle Medicine Physician in 2020, & was admitted as a Fellow to the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine (FASLM) in 2021. Linda is undertaking study in the Master of Human Nutrition Course at Deakin University.
Linda also enjoys family time, supporting the Orange community Australian Army Cadet Unit & outdoor activities such as gardening & skiing.

Dr. Peter McGoldrick
Dr Peter McGoldrick is dual qualified as a Medical and Dental Practitioner, with over 35 years of experience. He completed the NSW Institute of Psychiatry’s Certificate of Drug & Alcohol management course in 1992, became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1997, a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 2001, a Founding Fellow of the Australian College of Aesthetic Medicine in 2009, a Board Certified Lifestyle Medicine Physician (IBLM [USA]) in 2020, and a Fellow of the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine in 2021.
Dr Peter McGoldrick provides the full range of general practice services, with special interests in sports medicine and skin cancer management.
In 2013, Dr McGoldrick moved to Millthorpe with his wife Linda, and their four children.
When not working, Dr McGoldrick spends time with his family, plus writing, inventing and mathematics.

Calling your Doctor:
Your Doctor will try to take your call, but may be away, or busy with patients. Please let us know if it is urgent.

Test Results:
Test results are preferably given during a face-to-face consultation with your Doctor.

Specialist Referrals:
These are best done during a face-to-face consultation with your Doctor.
Medical Certificates:
You will require either a face-to-face or telehealth/telephone appointment to obtain a medical certificate, and we regret that these cannot be backdated.

Electronic Communication:
Our practice values your privacy. At times, we may email you from our secure e-mail system or practice software. You may also receive SMS messages if you have opted-in to receive them. Please note, to protect your personal information, we are unable to accept e-mail communication from patients.
Recalls & Reminders:
We may contact you through SMS, phone, and/or letters regarding your results, follow-up appointments, or routine preventive healthcare like vaccinations or screenings. Your Doctor may request your prompt return to follow-up on important matters.
To ensure that we can contact you about your results and appointments, please advise our reception team if you would like to opt-in to receive SMS communications, and/or if you need to update your contact details on our records.
